The Festival of Robotics returns to Pisa: from May 19 to 21, many science dissemination events. Previews in San Giuliano Terme during Agrifiera (April 28 - 29) and in Volterra (May 12 -14). Sponsorship and involvement of the Sant'Anna School

Pisa will again become RoboTown, the city of robots, thanks to the third edition of the Festival of Robotics scheduled in the city of the Leaning Tower from May 19 to 21, 2023. It is again the Tuscan city - which, with the surrounding area, boasts one of the highest concentrations in the world of employees and activities for the research, development, and application of robotic systems in increasingly broad sectors - that will host the event to make robotics, in many of its declinations, observable by everyone. Numerous events designed to engage the citizenship and bring firsthand experiences that give the idea of a today that is already tomorrow.

'Let's Live Our Tomorrow Today' is the claim of the 2023 edition, which desires to let a wide audience understand - with extensive scientific dissemination - how and to which measure the Science of Robotics, as well as Artificial Intelligence, with all its applications, can improve the quality of life.

The Festival of Robotics, with the Fondazione Tech Care (promoted by the University of Pisa, Azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria Pisana, and Fondazione Arpa) as the implementing entity, receives support from the Regione Toscana, the Municipality of Pisa, the Fondazione Pisa, the Fondazione Arpa and other organizations and institutions, and is patronized by the University of Pisa, the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies, the Azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria Pisana, the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Volterra, the Municipality of Volterra, the Municipality of San Giuliano Terme, the CNR and other organizations and institutions.

Arsenali Repubblicani, Stazione Leopolda are just some of the locations in Pisa where panel discussions, workshops and exhibitions will take place. In addition to Pisa, there will be two previews: one in the context of the Agrifiera in Pontasserchio, in which, on April 28 and 29, the theme of Robotics in Agriculture will be developed, with numerous workshops involving personnel from the Department of Agriculture of the University of Pisa and students from the city's schools; and the other in Volterra, on the weekend of May 12 to 14 where the theme of Robotics, Art and Culture will be discussed, with exhibitions in the Municipal Picture Gallery venue, and a conference at the Centro Studi of the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Volterra curated by the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies.

The program-which is being outlined-includes seminars, talk shows, lectures, educational workshops, and scientific-disclosure exhibitions to meet the expectations, curiosity, and questions posed by a wide and varied audience. The Festival, in fact, has an essentially cultural purpose: to show citizens the state of the art of Robotics (and, at least in part, Artificial Intelligence) declined in the themes of Agriculture, Cinema, Art and Culture, Engineering, Medicine, School Education, Trade, and Industry.
